hii friends,

Before I start off, my sincere salutations to the deity, the temple, the kashi mutt sanstthan and ramakrishna and his family(his mother esp). I have written this blog with the clear and unselfish intention of reaching those who were not able to attend this pious event ans also to those who could but want to relive that moment again.

Event summary:
the pictures below are of the great event called 'srasthi'. the roll of events started from 3rd of december and lasted till the 6th of december.

Day one: panchami
The mega event of this day was the very popular and powerful "madastana"
i could'nt take the pics of this since i myself was busy performing it. there were over 400 people doing it and it lasted for close to half an hour. The deity was placed in the silver 'palaki' and was taken for 'mruga bete'. The lord then headed towards the bhaktara mutt where arthi was offered and later the lord made 5 pradakshne around the garbha gudi of the SAT. It was around 6 am when it all ended.
